Battalia is a genus of moths belonging to the subfamily Tortricinae of the family Tortricidae. Although first described in 1952 by Alexey Diakonoff from New Guinean specimens collected by the Third Archbold Expedition,[1] the name he gave the genus—Parachorista—was preoccupied.[2] The replacement name Battalia was first published in 1981 by Ahmet Ömer Koçak.[3]
