Fletcher Sharpe (born 3 May 2004) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who currently plays for the Newcastle Knights in the National Rugby League. His position is fullback.
Background[edit]
Born in Maitland, New South Wales, Sharpe played his junior rugby league for the Cessnock Goannas, before being signed by the Newcastle Knights.
Playing career[edit]
Early years[edit]
Sharpe spent his early years rising through the junior ranks for the Newcastle Knights.[2][3]
2024[edit]
In February, Sharpe's contract with the Knights was extended until the end of 2026, along with an immediate promotion into the club's top 30 NRL squad.[4] In round 14 of the 2024 NRL season, Sharpe will make his NRL debut for the Knights against the Melbourne Storm.[5]
