The 2018 Asian Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup was supposed to be the inaugural edition of the Asian Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Volleyball Association of Hong Kong, China.[1][2] But due to unforeseen reasons the tournament was not held.

The tournament was open to AVC members associations ranked 11th and below or did not participate in the 2017 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship. Priority was given to teams which took part in the championship, then to the highest ranked non-participating teams. The host could admit up to ten teams.[2]
