Bala Mahalleh-ye Gafsheh (Persian: بالامحله گفشه)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Gafsheh-ye Lasht-e Nesha Rural District of Lasht-e Nesha District, Rasht County, Gilan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,771 in 500 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,558 people in 536 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,533 people in 508 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
