Pontefract, Castleford and Knottingley is a proposed constituency of the House of Commons in the UK Parliament.[1] Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, it will first be contested at the 2024 general election. Yvette Cooper is the incumbent MP for all parts of this new seat.

Boundaries[edit]

The constituency will be composed of the following wards of the City of Wakefield (as they existed on 1 December 2020):[2]

It will comprise the current Normanton, Pontefract and Castleford seat excluding the Normanton ward, which includes the town of Normanton and the civil parishes of Warmfield cum Heath and Kirkthorpe.
