Yubin Shin made her acting debut in 2014 and quickly became a notable figure in Cambodian cinema. She has starred in various television dramas and films, gaining popularity for her versatile acting skills and commitment to promoting Cambodian culture. One of her recent notable roles includes "The Night Curse of Reatrei."

In 2023, Shin gained international recognition for her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, where she walked the red carpet on crutches due to a foot injury. Her presence at the festival was seen as a significant milestone for Cambodian cinema, highlighting her commitment to inclusivity and representation.[1] And in 2024, she joined 77th Cannes Film Festival again . She attended the event to support the screening of the film "Kinds Of Kindness." During the festival, she was seen on the red carpet and made several public appearances, including a notable one at the prestigious Hotel Martinez.
