Nafsika Antypas is a Greek-Canadian author, executive producer, vegan activist, and entrepreneur.[1] She is known for her work on the television series "Plant-Based by Nafsika" and as the founder of the vegan food brand, Nafsika’s Garden.[2]
Career[edit]
In 2014, Nafsika founded a non-profit organization called People Against Violence.[3] The organization's main goals include raising public awareness of domestic violence and offering 24/7 victim assistance.[3]
Antypas was the creator, writer, and executive producer of the television series "Plant-Based by Nafsika."[4][5][6] The show, which premiered in late 2015, became the first vegan lifestyle series to air on mainstream television (A&E).[4][7] She founded Nafsika’s Garden in late 2018, offering a range of vegan cheese alternatives.[4][2]
In 2020, Nicholas Alahverdian scammed Nafsika Antypas of about $30,000US ($40,000CAD).[8] She hired Alahverdian for marketing and booking guests for her TV show and he never did a thing.[9][10]

Nafsika is the author of 'The Plant-Based Switch,' which offers plant-based recipes and advice to shift to a plant-based diet.[4][12] She also wrote 'Ghosted'.[13]
