Bombing on Toncontín International Airportwas a Military bombing conducted by the Salvadoran Air Force that took place during the Football War. Late in the afternoon of 14 July 1969, Salvadoran Corsairs, F-51 reconditioned Mustangs, and C-47s with bomb-adapted wings struck Toncontín International Airport which is utilized by both civilian and military aircraft, thus preventing the Honduran Air Force from launching its aircraft.
