Carl Balita is the owner of the Carl Balita Review Center,[1] an anchor of DZMM, and a candidate for the 2022 Philippine Senate election.[1]
Early life[edit]
Carl Balita was born in Puerto Galera, Occidental Mindoro, the Philippines, [1] while some sources say that he was born in Makati, Metro Manila. [2] He went to elementary in Puerto Galera Central School, he went to high school in Divine Word College of Calapan, and he went to college in the University of Santo Tomas.[1] He got a degree on Nursing.[1]
Career[edit]
Carl Balita was the Chairman of the CEB Group of Companies, which owns review centers nationwide.[3] He is also the president of the Asian Academy for Applied Entrepreneurship and the director of the Spotlight Artist Center. He released the films Nars and Maestra as a producer.[1][4]
He ran for the Senate of the Philippines, under the party and coalition Aksyon Demokratiko, the slate of Isko Moreno.[5] He got 30th, with 3,700,143 votes or 6.70 percent.[6][7]
