Rik Amrit (Bengali: ঋক অমৃত) (born Amritanath Bhattacharya) is an Indian poet, actor, playwright, and theatre director from Kolkata, West Bengal.[1][2][3][4] He was the creative director of Bengal Repertory and an organizer of a theatre festival in West Bengal.[5][6][7]

Theatre[edit]
Amrit helped to organize the destination theatre festival Natya Dhara.[5][6][7] He has also has written, produced and directed theatre productions for Bengal Repertory, including Advut Andhar Ek,[8] Ashwatthama the war machine'[9] and Meghmalhar.
Films & Television[edit]
In 2018 Amrit debuted as an actor in the movie Yeh Rishta, directed by Soumojit Adak.[10][11][12] He next acted in Pocket Films' The Lust Celebration, released on YouTube, which received more than one miillion views.[citation needed] His appeared in Korapaak in 2020.[citation needed] He has worked as an Edit Producer with Indian director and producer Subhankar Chattopadhyay on non-fiction television series, including Dadagiri Unlimited, Dance Bangla Dance, Mirakkel and Super Singer (Bengali TV series)[citation needed]
