Muhammad Bima Enagi (born September 7, 1959) is Nigerian politician, and the senator representing Niger South Senatorial District of Niger State at the 9th National Assembly.[1][2][3][4]

Education[edit]

Enagi obtained his degree in Quantity Surveying at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1982.[5]

Professional career[edit]

He started his career in Quantity Surveying with Owah Unik Consultants, Warri. He later joined the public service where he retired as a Director at the Central Bank of Nigeria.[6][5]

Polictical career[edit]

Sani Mohammed name was substitute for the candidate of Niger South senatorial district and Enagi was elected in the February 23, 2019 Niger South Senatorial district election where he polled 160,614 while the candidate of the People's Democratic Party Shehu Baba Agaie polled 90,978 votes.[7][3] Personal life He leads a fulfilling personal life as a prosperous individual. Currently a billionaire, with a net worth and assets totaling 2.5 billion Naira, he enjoys a comfortable and contented retirement in Abuja, where he resides in his family house.

Senator Bima Enagi is a family man with four wives, including the well-known Hajiya Zainab Ahmad and Rukkaya Tafawa Balewa. Together, they have raised a large and successful family. His children have grown to achieve significant success in their own rights. Notably, Abubakar Muhammad Bima serves as the Assistant Director of the Central Bank of Nigeria, highlighting the family's continued influence in the country's financial sector.

The senator's other children have also pursued meaningful paths in life. Among them are Maryam Muhammad Bima, Aisha Muhammad Bima, Amina Muhammad Bima, Fatima Muhammad Bima, Khadija Muhammad Bima, Idris Muhammad Bima, Ahmad Muhammad Bima, and Muhammad Muhammad Bima, who currently resides in Atlanta. The family's legacy continues with numerous grandchildren, including Hauwa Abubakar Bima and Muhammad Abubakar Bima, ensuring that the Bima name remains prominent for generations to come.
