Lola Ade-John is a Nigeria information and technology expert, banker and the current Minister of Tourism.[1]

Education[edit]

Lola Ade-John studied computer science at the University of Ibadan where she graduated in 1984. She also holds a master's degree from the same field and the same institution.[1]

Career[edit]

After her graduation from the university, Lola worked with Shell Petroleum as a systems analyst. Then she proceeded to work with Magnum Trust bank, Access Bank, United Bank for Africa and Ecobank. After her stinct at the banking sector, she founded Novateur Business Tecchnology Consultants in 2013.

On 16 August 2023, she was appointed minister of Tourism by President Bola Tinubu. She assumed office on 21 August 2023.[2][3]

She is a very vibrant person and highly adventurous . She has travelled far and wide. Her major determination is to make sure that the tourism sector in Nigeria becomes world standard by generating billions of dollars in revenue to further enhance Nigeria Economy. She is a major key player in revitalisation of Obudu cattle ranch in Cross River.
