Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot (also simply known as Possum Trot) is an upcoming American drama film directed by Joshua Weigel, and co-written by Rebekah Weigel. Actress and activist Letitia Wright serves as executive producer.

Production[edit]
Filming took place in Macon, Georgia in the fall of 2022, with a budget of $8.5 million.[1] In February 2024, it was announced that Angel Studios acquired North American distribution rights to the film, adding the title Sound of Hope to capitalize on the company's 2023 box office success, Sound of Freedom.[2]
Release[edit]
Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot is scheduled to be theatrically released on July 4, 2024, by Angel Studios. A studio sponsored advance screening will take place on June 19, 2024, two weeks before official release.
