Biography[edit]

Yossi Erblich (born in 1977) is a medical consultant, founder and chairman of the association LeMaanchem" that deals in medical consulting.

Erblich was born in Antwerp (Belgium) to the businessman Shimon Erblich. In his youth he immigrated to Israel, and lived in Tel Aviv.[1] Studied at Beit Talmud and Ponivage yeshiva.

He began his activity in the field of medicine after encountering problems with the medical treatment given to his uncle, Rabbi Aharon[1] Rosenfeld, the Rebbe of Pinsk-Karlin in the year 5566.

Erblich, who has connections in general and ultra-Orthodox politics, is considered close to the late leader of the ultra-orthodox Lithuanian public [2] In 2008- his name was proposed as a candidate for mayor of Elad on behalf of Rabbi Steinman and the leaders who follow him.[3]

In 2014, he founded the "LeMaanchem" (For You) association. Although he has no formal medical education, he provides information[4] and his connections with doctors in Israel and abroad. As part of his relationships, mediation between outside donors medical he gained from his experience to Israel for medical centers in Israel with help to purchase medical equipment.

The "LeMaanchem" association[edit]

In 2014, he founded the "LeMaanchem" association, a non-profit organization that provides medical advice. The association accepts [4] hundreds of inquiries a day on medical issues and financial donations. The organization's main goal is to provide medical assistance and diagnosis.

Those applying for medical advice from the association they usually do this against the background of several main reasons: there are those who find it difficult to navigate inside the bureaucracy of the public medical system; Some patients believe that they were not properly diagnosed by the doctors who treated them, and request to receive another opinion or a more comprehensive diagnosis free of charge.

Among the doctors active in the association are Professor Benny Davidson, The director of the organization's medical system[6], former director of the emergency division at the Ministry of Health, who serves as the head of the organization's physician array, Prof. Mordechai Weiss, an expert internist, who serves as a senior consultant to the organization, vice president of the organization Dr. Gadi Neuman, deputy director of Beilinson Hospital and more. As part of the "Doctors in Reserve" project, about 200 doctors from around the world are active, encouraging and helping with various medical questions [8][9] . In 2023 there were over 20,000 applications to the organization.

In addition to medical consultation by an array of volunteer doctors, the association engages in the training of "medical consultants", who their purpose is to provide guidance for appropriate medical consultation and diagnosis.

In order to make medical information accessible, Erblich and the organization's doctors publish dozens of columns and articles every year in the written press and online.
