Hanna Gedin (born 11 March 1978) is a Swedish politician for the Left Party. She served as deputy party secretary for five years, leaving the position in December 2022.[1] She was the second on the party list for the 2024 European Parliament election and has been declared as elected by Swedish media, as the Left Party is set to gain two seats.[2] She was mentioned as a potential candidate for party leader to follow Jonas Sjöstedt.[3]

Gedin was born on 11 March 1978 on the Scanian countryside and grew up on Norra Fäladen in Lund.[4][5] She joined the Left Party at 15 years old.[6]
