I only had 30 miles to ride in WV today and it was just as hard as yesterday. There was no rest, just a constant roller coaster. However, it didn’t take long to reach VA. Once I hit VA the road expanded to 4 lanes and the hills eased up. A few more miles and I arrived in Winchester. The city was beautiful to ride through and I’m looking forward exploring it after today’s game. Only one more day of riding.

The ladies may not be beating down your door…you’ve apparently morphed from JC to HH – AKA Howard Hughes – or “that man who peed in the bottles” per Sammy. I am actually surprised you held up so well!
Glad to hear you are in VA – seems very quick considering the route, weather, and total miles. Way to go Evan!!!
PS – don’t forget to clip those toe nails when you get home…
Sending you much love from a beach house in Rhode Island where Sam and I have crashed for a few days with Kar, Kate, Nick, Adam, Joe, Val, and Matteo. We are all in awe of your amazing accomplishment!

The “Welcome To Virginia” might be my favorite picture! You are truly a welcome sight!

We know you will be a welcome site to your family. So happy to know you are almost in Alexandria. Remember the crash that you and Dan had on that last leg the last time. Take care and enjoy the rest of your summer. Paula and Chuck Beattie

Awesome beard! Are you going to keep it for awhile? Do you find bugs in it at the end of each day? :-)
